The Wayfarer is the main taxi of the 1978 era, it is replaced in the 2006 era with the Torrex, but the Wayfarer can still be spotted in 2006 and it is fully drivable. The Wayfarer isn't the fastest car on Driver: Parallel Lines as it only has a speed of 88mph - 142km/h if your lucky you can reach 99mph - 159km/h down hill. The Handling on this car has a soft set of springs making it a bouncy car that gives it a common taxi feel.
This car is designed mainly for driving around carefully as it isn't very good for racing or escaping chases. But with exellent durability you can create mayhem in New York city!
